needs, corporate culture, and overall business strategy. We gain an
understanding of the company's history, successes, and challenges.
We determine, beyond our client's proffered job description, a clear
understanding of the ideal candidate, personally and professionally.
We become familiar with the company's management structure, as well
as the promotional opportunities associated with the available position.
We then provide our clients a realistic timetable for completion and
a clear understanding of how we will proceed with their search.
Position Specifications
We prepare and submit, for your approval, a comprehensive position summary that defines the scope of responsibilities, required experience, personal attributes, position expectations, and other relevant information gathered from our consultation.
Targeted Research
We combine our industry expertise with our internal research and sourcing capabilities in order to conduct a detailed industry analysis. Next, our staff prepares a target list of companies most likely to employ uniquely relevant talent for our client's assignment. Upon consultant approval, our staff utilizes the target company list to identify and summarize the names and titles of possible target candidates.
Proactive Recruitment
We directly contact the prospective candidates identified from our research efforts, in order to present the opportunity and to determine their relevance to position specifications, as well as their availability or interest. We typically present the opportunity confidentially, unless our client suggests otherwise. Additionally, we use our industry network to identify and contact individuals particularly known for their performance and capabilities, as well as those less-than-visible individuals who are best identified through referrals.
Candidate Qualifications
Upon screening possible candidates for relevance and interest, we conduct
in-depth, personal interviews to identify those most appropriate
for our client's position. Next, we develop a list of finalists,
and then present detailed assessments of their experience, accomplishments,
capabilities, and personal suitability to our client.
Reference Summaries
Before submitting our search results and recommendations to our
client, we conduct reference checks on the finalist candidates
and prepare reference summaries for the client's review.
Search Recommendations
Our search recommendation report includes only those candidates most qualified for our client's position. We include candidate assessments developed from our personal interviews, written reference check summaries for our client's consideration, and our specialist's recommendation summary.
Interview Recommendations
We facilitate meetings with our client and selected finalist candidates, offering assistance throughout the interview and evaluation process. We closely monitor client and candidate conclusions to determine it there is a likely fit. Our client further narrows the search and ultimately selects their preferred candidate.
Offer Presentation
We advise our client of offer terms that our candidate will accept, within the original parameters of the assignment. We inform the client of any issues or concerns the candidate may have, and we suggest strategies to facilitate acceptance of an offer. We then present the offer to our candidate, on behalf of our client, confirming that it meets previously discussed expectations. Upon acceptance, our client and the selected candidate will determine an appropriate start date.
Transition Management
Our candidate, committed to our client's opportunity and well prepared to handle likely counter-offer discussions, resigns from their current employer. We closely monitor the transition period and resolve any issues that may develop during that time.
Conscientious Follow Up
Our consultants take pride in their work and look forward to a regular dialogue with their clients and candidates. We routinely contact placed individuals at thirty days, six months, and one year, in order to assure a smooth transition and mutually successful relationship.
