Calvin J DeVoll VI graduated from one of the more respected business schools in the country, W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He brings 11 years of progressively responsible and effective leadership experience to Henson Partners, Inc. With a concentration in supply chain management and operations, Calvin joined Henson Partners, Inc. in May, 2005 to expand its customer-base while upholding the ethical and performance values that Henson Partners, Inc. was built upon.
Calvin began his career in the Food Industry on the food service side of the business. He became an accomplished operations manager for a national food service company. While he was particularly rewarded for his managerial and team building skills, he was also recognized for his competency with logistics, inventory, and operations, while controlling costs and increasing profitability.
Previously, Calvin developed his leadership and managerial skills while in the U. S. Navy where he embarked on two tours of the Persian Gulf. While onboard the USS Cowpens CG-63, in the Persian Gulf, Calvin coordinated and managed the military information link between his ship and all other units in the Persian Gulf area resulting in outstanding marks in exercises and successfully enforcing maritime interdictions against Iraq. Calvin demonstrated technical proficiency, initiative, and willingness to accept ever-increasing responsibility. As a result, he was consistently promoted and awarded: he received the Marksmanship Award, Battle E, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
